Well, he hasn't been asked for much, or wasn't for quite some time, maybe in the spring you could extend the amount of time out. He looks great and I see he is getting his winter wooleys and boy does he get wooley. You will think you have a buffalo in the pasture by mid winter and just wait till it starts to come off. It comes off in sheets. I bet he will shed out much quicker in spring though due to much better nutrition.

The weather took a cold turn here (like I have to tell you that) and as I was putting a blanket on my old man, I thought of Turtle and was so happy I did not have to go to bed that night wondering if he was warm and had a full belly. Is he still being a good boy for your young one? Sounds like he may be getting a bit full of himself. Thanks for the update. With the change in weather, my mind has been drifting to him much more often. I have wanted to contact you, but don't want to make a pest of myself so thanks for the update again. It makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.

I think he looks marvelous. They make a great team. You have to remember what he looked like last spring to appreciate what he looks like now. Ack...look at those poor back feet.

Since he is kind of off the beaten path (not too far off) it would probably be best if I meet you and lead you out. I live in town. My horses are all boarded.
