I have two horses, Havana a 15 hand tobaino piebald Paint/Quarter Horse mare, who I rescued from a very bad owner. And Shelly a 12 hand strawberry roan Welsh Mountain Pony, who I've had as long as I can remember. Shelly has chronic laminitis, and she is very old. Havana on the other hand is ten years old and in perfect health. I plan on adopting a horse from Spoiled Acres Farm in late May or early June. I do not ride horses, I just love to be around them. My favorite breed of horse is a Thoroughbred, and I follow horse racing very closely. Rachel Alexandra is my favorite racehorse, and I also love Curlin and Barbaro.
  • Signature
Havana and Shelly, partners in crime. Mostly against me.

Lael Stables' Lentenor, the full brother to 2006 Kentucky Derby (gr. I) winner Barbaro, finished third in his career debut on closing day at Keeneland Oct. 31, a race won by the favored Positive Split

Ridden by Julien Leparoux for trainer Michael Matz, who also conditioned Barbaro, Lentenor waited in traffic along the inside on the turn of the seven-furlong maiden special weight Polytrack event for 11 2-year-olds. Leparoux worked Lentenor out and around rivals while four...

Isn't it funny how sometimes your horse can act just like you and vice versa. Me and my horse have the exact same personality. We both have to constantly be in chargeAnd we like to pick on smaller things. (Me my bother, Havana my pony Shelly). And we both don't like being bossed around.:rolleye z:

I've found the perfect place to get my new horse! It's called Spoiled Acres Farm and it's in Aurora, Indiana. They take all the rescued horses in Dearborne (I hope I spelled that right) County. I want another rescue horse, preferably because I want to be part of the solution, not the problem.I am obsessed with horse racing so, I really, really, really...want a OTTB
