Thank you GOD...it's Friday. I'm a school bus driver by trade and let me tell you, the days before a long Holiday break..it just makes the children become animals. I like animals, that have fuzzy fur and long ears, not bi pedal, screaming and shrieking children. Ugh...

Living in Michigan we get our fair share of snow but wowee was that last storm a doozy. My in-laws live south of Detroit and they got 12 inches of snow. I have lots of drifts and it looks so pretty. I had to drive down to my barn today to unload some shavings and was I ever glad for the 4x4. My mares seemed to be feeling frisky in the snow. Saphy, my old gal was prancing about so lovely, you just gotta love Arabs and how they move. You'd never guessed she is pushing 23.

I've never blogged before. This is a first for me, so hopefully I will enjoy it and continue with it. I live here in Michigan, north of Detroit and south of Flint. I have a wonderful, loving and greatly missed husband named Bill. He recently started drving a Tractor Trailer over the road and gone most of the time.
