- I really seem to be rescuing horses. My first horse, Champ, needed lots of help. He was 21 and past his use by date as far as his old owners were concerned. So I fixed him up and now he's happy. Still ride him a bit but not hard. I have to agist him unfortunately, but that's where I found my second horse, Evie. She was owned by a teenager with no time (not entirely her fault - parents did not allow her time to come over). But the horse did not get enough care, and was kinda abused every month being thrashed around and unfit, so I stepped in when she came up for sale. Currently fixing HER up, but will have a gem of a horse in the end. I kinda also have another horse lol! My friend is giving him to me when we MOVE TO THE COUNTRY! I

Still waiting to sell our house...
We did have an open for inspection last night and some people went through yippee! Hopefully tomorrow there will be some action. God it so annoying - we are getting heaps more hits now on the internet so hopefully someone, somewhere, will come through!
Went up to check out the new area and even more in love with it (even though mum and dad making smart comments about us being hippies and it being so far out of town lol!). We went...

So after the disastrous auction, we have been a bit depressed....
I was thinking oh no I have to call my new boss and tell him.... so eventually plucked up the courage - whew - it went to messages!
Anyway, he called me back of course and was so nice about it. He said dont worry we can wait a bit longer because we want you to be happy with the move. When would be best for you? So I am like "well, best for me would be school holidays... (about 3 weeks after I first...

Dam.n it dam.n it dam.n it! We had our Auction today and it didn't sell... didn't go well at all! We had no bids....
Arrgh it is so frustrating - we have been doing our bit - keeping it clean as possible, we painted it and packed up everything we didnt need so it looks neat.... I am a bit down that it was unsuccessful - where are the buyers?! I hope they will come forth next week as it often the case... We went to an auction last week and the same thing happened but they sold this week...

Well I got to ride Evie on Sun. I worked with her in the round yard (while waiting for the arena) and had both the kids ride her (still waiting for the arena) and then just about to go on arena when I said to this guy there who had been hanging around (and was obviously waiting for the arena) and he goes "oh my horse needs to be by herself because she throws herself around". So I cracked it, put Evie back and went to McDonalds to shut the kids up (well, it was lunchtime by then!) and...

Well I have found a little time to work with the horses the last few days. It has been frustrating keeping the house spotless. We really only need to for the open for inspections but I like to keep it looking clean "just in case the agent calls up unexpectedly". I really really want to sell this place and have been working on my silly husbands idea that we are going to make money on it. NOT!!! Just sell it and be done with the stress! (It is ok, I am wearing him down!)
