Hi Jodie. Only giving 2 or 300 grms per horse. Its justenough to mix stuff in. Some of the horses aren't getting either that or chaff. With the Hygain Balance that their getting they don't need any other supplements and its only a small amount of pellets so they just get the pellets and their hay. I use very little chaff and only if I need to add sonemething else in

- I really seem to be rescuing horses. My first horse, Champ, needed lots of help. He was 21 and past his use by date as far as his old owners were concerned. So I fixed him up and now he's happy. Still ride him a bit but not hard. I have to agist him unfortunately, but that's where I found my second horse, Evie. She was owned by a teenager with no time (not entirely her fault - parents did not allow her time to come over). But the horse did not get enough care, and was kinda abused every month being thrashed around and unfit, so I stepped in when she came up for sale. Currently fixing HER up, but will have a gem of a horse in the end. I kinda also have another horse lol! My friend is giving him to me when we MOVE TO THE COUNTRY! I

Well, all the horses have finally made it to the new farm. They are all liking it lots, especially since I am too busy to ride them ha ha.
I have put Champ in with Evie, and beside them is Mac, Cisco and Tony. All are happy, except Mac. He would LOVE to be in with Evie, who he has fallen for big time (well, she is a looker lol!). But I cant put him in there or Champ will kill him. Literally! He is sooo jealous if Evie looks sideways at Mac (which is often coz she's a hussy) he...

Hmmm is 7 my lucky number?
I cant believe how eventful this year has been. Thinking back to this time last year and how I was so eaten up wanting a horse sooo bad.
So first there was Champ. Now 22. Fixed him up and made him happy. Much has been written about him!
Then there was Evie. Now 16. Fixed her up and made lots of progress but need to spend more time with her to make her happy! Much written about her too!.

Hey there - I have been slogging away at work and driving up and down to Melb and packing and unpacking and loading and unloading and lots of dust/spiderweb crud removal and looking after kids and hubby AND moved in with my mother-in-law (who never shuts up! oi!) and still having probs with the house sale...!!! Oh my god I have just got back from telling my boss about the farm. She was ok with it she knows how much I have wanted to go there. I have been stressing and stressing because, well I have my other job already started up there and I am using my annual leave but it is getting a bit obvious and well I just had to tell her so I had nothing to hide any more. Hey there I have the most exciting news!! I have been sooo busy and hardly on here it seems (well compared to normal ha ha!)
We got the farm on Thurs. It was so exciting driving up the drive and feeling like you were trespassing but knowing you weren't! It truly is awesome. Been so hard to get here but truly worth it!!!
