I would've preferred a pretty mare too. But sensibility is more important in the end. From what I hear Jack is getting along wonderfully with his new owner. Makes me jealous but it was just not meant to be. Sometimes personalities clash and ours did in a big way. I'm looking forward to Paddy getting here. I'm patient though. I've got lots of people who go "are you excited?" "I'll bet you can't wait?" well I can wait. I suppose I'll get more excited closer to the day he gets on the truck for his big drive!

Sunny is a beautiful girl. She looks nothing like Jack. I just didn't want to take the risk of a horse looking too much like him being Pally and all. The horse that SL saw that was a pinto pally looked too much like Jack and the mini anxiety attack started. It wasn't the mare's fault but I didn't realise how much my body would react. My mind can rationalise it but my body had other ideas.
