I'm not a conditioner person! I jsut have it cause a friend is no longer into horses, so she gave me all her stuff like that (lucky me!) I mean Fez's tail is long, but a bit scraggly on the bottom, so if I got the length I would just ban it just above the ground -- at least the bottom would be very full

- Hey -- I gotta get some MTG, but I have an enormous bottle of Mane & tail conditioner -- do you think it'd be Ok to just dilute it with water to use it as a spray on?? io totally don't want a tail that's dragging on the ground all the time, but I want a full tail that's for sure!
- Hey! Just wanted to share my joy -- my B/O is using Fez as the "weaning" buddy for his 2 mares, to wean them away from the rest of the herd (a 10y/o & 2y/o) So that means he's going in the front field where there are NO trees or burrs at ALL! YEAH! SO he'll be up there for the rest of the burr season, cause he'll wean the 2 mares 1 at a time! This means I can let his mane & forelock down (it's been up in braids to keep the burs out) AND I can try out that tail thingy with the crochet knots!! Cause well he wont' keep a tail bag in -- even the 3tube ones he seems to get them off even though they NEVER come off any other horse I put them on! *sigh* leave it to my 1/2 Andy with piles of tail to be a stinker for that eh!

Allure's sleazy got here this morning, so I went out and put that on her and took pictures. I'm not as happy with it as I am with her blanket, but eh... it was cheapish. The color is good but the stitching is all over the place and it just looks meh. But she was pretty good about putting it on (it's a pull-on job) and was cool about my throwing the blanket back on afterwards.

I have my eye on another horse.
She's 14... a big (big meaning fat) bay polish mare with great bloodlines. I have some video around somewhere (at mom's, I think) that I took of her a while back... will have to dig that out and watch it again. Her owner quoted a great price for me, and I know she's just sitting in the pasture getting fatter. Hehe.
I'm thinking I might try to pick her up sometime next year. If she's been sold or something by then,...

I may start riding her again soon. I'm taking her blanket out there tomorrow, since it's started to get a little nippy out. I need to put her tail up, too. It's going to have to be a bareback winter... the western saddle doesn't fit her and I can't stand the dressage saddle.
Allie is still snug in her blanket. No sleazy yet... these people are pretty slow with shipping.

We went from "8AM-12PM" to "2PM-5PM"... because apparently he has to do a rather large house (lots of installations). But this stuff is scheduled in advance... shouldn't they have known ahead of time that it would be time consuming?
