Last night my friends little mare had her first foal. A gorgeous healthy black filly.

I am SOOOOOO happy for my friend and the mare. I showed the mare last year for my friend. I wish I could see the foal but I cant until the stupid Equine flu outbreak is over

Anyway just keeping my journal updated, and Im really excited and just had to share.

Wow!!! It has been along time since I wrote in here I am just really bored and there is barely any movement on the forums that my mouse wandered up to the journels (yep, my mouse has a mind of his own. I call him Murphy. Murphy the mouse ) and after reading everyones latest entries I decided it was time to update my own!!!

Soooooo.... it been excactly 1 year and 5 months since my last entry. this could be along one guys, get comfy!

Its one week till I compete in my first ODE Im sooooooooooooooooooo nervous slash excited!!!!!!! I CAN NOT wait *jumps up and down*

Had to share, my journal was feeling lonely because no one was reading or writing in it

Today was my first PRIVATE lesson with my instructor (ive been in many of his group lessons). I had a great time, because it was my first time riding at his place. It was also interesting since I was riding one of his horses (for experience)

The lesson started with flatwork, only the basic stuff since it was a little get-to-know you between me and the horse (more below). We just worked on our circles and transitions and stuff. Plus I had a little gallop on him in the arena my instructor...

I had THE best gallop today... THE BEST!!!!!

My lesson was cancelled due to rain today so I did a little exploring I rode out into the bush and found this GREAT place. Its like a water source or something. Its this HUGE like HUGE pond surrounded my a raised track...

A rasied track perfect for the gallop of a lifetime!!! It was like a race track, I pretended I was a jockey Rusty was FLYING!!! SO MUCH FUN!
