After three weeks of Maddie being stuck in a stall being weaned we finally took the plunge and put her outside with Duckie. Everything went better then I could have hope. Just alittle bit of squealing and running around and then they both settled into to eating hay like they've been together for years.

My friends dad bought a clyde mare in foal and gave the baby to her as a wedding present. But she decided that she didn't want it so I decided to take her

She is a clyde/TB cross not the QH's that i'm used to. She's going to be absolutley HUGE!!! When I measured her at 3 months old she was already 12.2hh (her withers are already even with my shoulders)

She did have some wacky legs for the first month or two but they have straightened out. Here's a pic...

AWW. My neighbour across the road was down at congress showing her stallion when at the end of one of her classes her boyfriend called her over to the side and proposed to her!!! How sweet

My farrier finally put up her case study of my QH gelding.

It's neat to be able to go back and see what his feet looked like before she started trimming and compare them to what they look like now!!

I'm finally starting to go to the gym on Tuesday. My weight has finnally gotten to the point the I don't even like to look at myself in the mirror!

I get a 1hr free training session with membership with one of the trainers. I'm completly useless at tring to figure out what to do by myself so hopefully this will help.

My goal is to loose 100 lbs in total and try to get back to the weight I was when I meet my husband. But i'm going to start with small 20 lbs increments...
