- I am a big time pony clubber. I am rated as a HB, looking to take my riding C3 sometime soon. I rode dressage for several years before getting Buddy who I now event on. I love eventing and plan to debut at training level in the spring of 2008.
I am also a big time Civil War and Indian War eras Cavalry Reenactor. With my unit we portray the 5th Texas Mounted Volunteers for the Civil War era. They fought for the famed Tom Greene and were an active part of the Glorieta Campaign in New Mexico, fighting in the battles of Socorro, Glorieta Pass, and Apache Canyon. For the Indian Wars era we portray the 4th U.S. Cavalry led by John Chivington of fame. They fought extensively along the western frontier against the Indians from the end of the Ci

Ride!! I want to ride Buddy sooooo bad! But he's not in work until we can figure out what is going on with his leg
I just have this incredible itching to ride and to JUMP!! The last time I jumped (aside from at the cav competition) we did a 3'3" course that just felt AMAZING! This horse can jump, the 3'3", it felt like nothing, and that's training level! It made me feel so proud!
But now I can't jump.... Pie doesn't jump anymore, and even if he did, at the moment he's...

My first thought, was... No way!! That horse is perfect for her!! *exasperated sigh*
Kinda backstory here... the owner, Jerri, bought the mare green broke from my then trainer when she was 5 1/2 years old. She had just had to retire her last horse due to a stifle problem and had been looking at a bunch of greenie WBs so my trainer stuck her on Priscilla...

this is part 2... what can I say, I am long winded lol
Oh yes, and then I wanted to say a bit more about Randy. What a neat guy! Oh he's awesome! He's one of those "been there done that" persons. He and his ranch have been on TV several times. He was one who went to Australia last year. He's an expert mounted shooter and he's also a licensed pyrotechnic (meaning he can make things explode and blow up and all that fun stuff!). He has a group of riders who travel around to Rodeos...
