Ok... so today at work it was just me and my supervisor, Jen. Between us we have to feed, clean, water etc.

We get down there and first order of business is to fill the tank from the fire hydrant, so we stick the hose in it and after about 5 minutes we finally figure out which way...

So... I love my job! Like a lot
It's just so awesome!!
My favorite part of the day is early in the morning when we get to take all the stallions out. I love getting to interact with them, I'm starting to learn their personalities and what they like and don't like and how to handle each one. This is what I've learned about each so far:
First we have Capote's Promise, he's a retired racehorse, thoroughbred obviously, and a Seattle Slew grandson. He's tall, dark and handsome....

SO much has happened this summer! Of course, got me a wonderful boyfriend, and we have had much adventures this summer! Went on a motorcycle trip to Moab, UT and then to the Grand Canyon and back. 1550 miles on the bike... I couldn't feel my butt for a week! But it was a BLAST!
Other adventures of the summer included climbing a 14er, my second time climbing to above 14,000ft,...

I'm considering changing my major... for good. Originally I had intended to go for Equine Sciences... but then decided against it for a few reasons, one because you can't really trully get a good job from that without going onto vet school, and the community college I'm going to only offers a vet tech program. I decided to try Forestry, Wildlife, and Natural Resources out... I'm finishing up a forestry class. It's been fun... but, dunno if this is really truly for me. I mean, I could do it if I...
