It's been forever! I am good, been sick lately though. The crew are great, Rion is all fat! I got acta back for a week last week for Pony Club Nationals.

i still have no idea what it was from, but on tuesday night, my friend called me saying that his nose (right under where the noseband would go on the front of his face) was very swollen and there was a wound with pus coming out of it. i rushed to the barn, and lo and behold, there was swelling on his nose about the size of my hand all the way around the wound. since there was no more pus, we waited until the next morning to call the vet (cheaper w/o emergency call as well. i hated to do it, but we'd already had enough emergency vet calls in the past two months). the swelling went down some, but not a whole lot so we called the vet and he came out to take a look and clean the wound. basically, it was a puncture wound, and bo needed antibiotics and bute for the next 8 days. *luckily* he didn't have to be on stall rest, but still, it was pretty scary!

oh no! i hope he gets better soon. horses always manage to hurt themselves - did i tell you about how bodie got a puncture wound in his nose?

i have been good! it's been way too long. did you see my thread on updates? it has the results from the show last weekend. basically, we had our BEST dressage (27) and our best stadium, so i was really happy!

how've you been? did you start jumping mr. riles?
