Yeah I do. Its quite nice here. During the spring it rains alot and during the summer its humid. The fall is absolutly stunning. The trees turn and the air is cool and crisp.

The only person that I know that's read them also is one of my school friends. We used to discuss them all the time, but then we both moved away and we're not close anymore.

I've never checked out the games... this dial-up sure does stink

Out of the three I've always liked Matt the best...

Have you heard they may be making a movie or a miniseries on the books? Tentative release 2011? That would be so neat... I don't know the screen could do them justice though

So how addicted are you? I've re-read the whole series every time a new book comes out. I've got the older ones memorized I keep thinking I want to start now before the next comes out... but I don't want to finish them and have to wait...

Hey! I saw you're a WoT fan! I've been since I was a kid... the next book is coming out in November... being finished by Brandon Sanderson... and it's being split up into 3... so two more after this one. Sometimes it seems like it's never going to end, but I love them!

Time: 9:30am
Horse:Jacob (~14.1hh)
Notes:As I was riding different horse than usual, instructor focussed on 'assessing' the horse (which will come in handy when buying)...Looked at positives and negatives of each gait and the transitions, and compared to Jethro.

Walk:
Jacob - Seemed quite ploddy
Jethro - Ploddy at start, but gets more energetic

Trot:
Jacob - Very smooth, rhythmical, goes straight into nice trot.
Jethro - Harder...

Steph, who was my flatmate and a great friend in first year has died today! She always made me feel happier, and was a great laugh, the song 'Don't Stop Me Now' will always remind me of her, as before we went out we would play it.

After first year we din't stay in contact much, but spoke on facebook and msn now and again.
I'm so shocked! I don't know the details, but I really can't believe it! She had so much life ahead of her, she was only 23!!!

Steph was really...

Time: 9am
Horse: Jethro
Notes: Lunge lesson - sitting and rising trot. Worked on improving sitting trot without stirrups whilst on lunge, to keep leg relaxed and back, have deep seat in the saddle, no gripping, hips forward and shoulders back.

Then had stirrups back and alternated between sitting and rising trot (when started to lose stirrup in sitting, would rise for a bit, then back to sitting).

At the very end, had a canter around the arena once, and...

Time: 9am (30mins)
Horse: Jethro
Notes: Worked on getting rising trot right - keep shoulders back, and move hips forward and back, rather than 'up' 'down'.

Also worked on canter transition, to keep body 'same'. - Sit up tall and straight, keep heels down, don't grip with knees. Found that my shoulders turn to right, (is OK when on right rein, but causes problems on left rein), must work on getting left side as strong as right.

Time: 8:30am (30mins)
Horse: Jethro
Notes: Walking, rising trot and canter.
10m, 20m and 30m circles in trot.
Jethro was livelier today, also had dad record lesson:
* I rise too high in trot, must do smaller rises.
* Heel isn't always down, especially during trot. Don't grip knee to saddle in trot.
* Sit more upright in canter.
* Longer stirrups?
* Leg too forward in trot.
