That may keep it from sliding forward a bit, I've never seen that happen! Maybe a breast collar would help center it too? Mine usually slide backwards if anything. And what on earth is a crupper for?

I'm so lucky, she shines no matter what. She has been getting more grooming than she had before (which only involves running a body brush over her just a tad before I put the saddle on ). She's already starting to get her winter coat. She's already a lot darker than what she was before.

I don't know if the stallion is homozygous for agouti or black (Can a bay be homozygous for black? ). I'm really hoping for a black or bay baby. For some reason a lot of chestnut morgans just don't trip my trigger. *shrugs*

As for the gender...I really think it's going to be a colt. Call in women's intuition. I'm sort of hoping for a filly, though. Less stress of deciding when and whether to geld. I don't really care, either way, though.
