Yes, I think I'll be taking heroic doses of vitamin C this week!
We did the apple schnitzing once this year, and I haven't heard anything about doing it again. I would think that the apples are done for the year, but what do I know.
I think it's almost time to eat lunch, so I'd better go. Good to talk to you!
- Haha, that sounds like Breez and Willow (the young TB I had for a while)! I think it must be a young horse thing (and a pregnant Tiff thing). We had to lock them in their stalls to get them to eat, too. I think their attention spans were so short they just couldn't keep their minds on eating!
I know we'll have lots of fun this week! I know we'll go shopping at least one day (probably more, lol!). I just hope everyone stays healthy. It seems like the little girls are always sick and getting the rest of us sick when they come to visit!
Wow, I never even thought about you guys not having a church there! I really hope you can find someplace that you feel comfortable going. Will it be hard to find one where they preach in English?? -
Thats a real bummer. Well, maybe you were sent there to start a riding program!??!? : D - Hey! I've been thinking about you, too, particularly when following the fundraiser thread. I was starting to worry (Nobody better be thinking that about Heather!!!
) so I was glad when you got on and could clear things up.
Val's doing good--greedier than ever. I tremble to think what she'll be like later on in her pregnancy, and worse yet, when she's lactating.
I haven't had the time to abuse her lately, but hopefully I'll be able to catch up on it later.
My older sister and her husband are arriving this afternoon with their two little girls. Eric will stay until Monday, and then he will head back to Ohio to go to a mechanic class (He works for a John Deere dealership and has to take classes every now and then to learn to work on different pieces of equipment). I think that goes for a week, so Lauren and the girls are staying here with us. My grandma from Iowa is arriving Sunday afternoon, so it's going to be one huge girls' party week!
Poor Dad! It's a good thing he's used to a house full of women! -
- Hahahah! I did wait a long time to find him, didn't I??? Well, I guess bidding my time did pay off this time I love him too. By the time you get back he'll be a big deal dressage horse (hahah...hopefully!) and you can ride him!

In as few words as possible, I'd like to address the recent issue with me on the fundraiser thread.
I hope it's over. I feel spent, and at the mercy of everyone here. I hope that everyone can see the truth, and make the appropriate decision about me. I'd really like to never repeat this type of situation again. Ever. Now was not a good time.

I finally spoke with my MIL to get an update on Wyatt, Mushka and the ponies. The weather in Michigan has gotten harsh, bitter and cold and everyone had a nice holiday.
I was happy to hear that everyone has integrated into the herd well and Tiffany has the second in command place. I was worried that if there were fights, it would go on with someone getting bit or kicked pretty good. Tiff is a bossy mare and I know she won't quit.

The housing search is still on. We are really lamenting the decision to pass on house #3. We truly truly loved it. The thing is, we love Wyatt much more than a house.
Our disgusting colds are just about gone. I still have a cough and sneeze but for the most part Aaron and I are back to feeling human again. We made up for the day that we crabbed at each other and both of us were sorry.

So, we went to see 2 more places yesterday. House "A" and house "B".
House A, was ok. It was the one that I was originally most excited about from the ads I picked out. It had a small front yard, big by japanese standards.
The inside was um, old? Kind if dingy and dirty...more worn than anything. It felt kind of dark and the kitchen was um, terrible. That's the best word...terrible.
Nice thing though was the neighborhood. Very cute...
