- There are people in the world who cannot bear the thought of heroes, or heroism. If these people exist, they reason, that means there are cowards, too. They further reason that, since they personally have done nothing heroic, they might be cowards. Rather than honor those who are heroic, or do something heroic themselves (and the opportunities are limitless), they seek out and tear down those in the world that threaten their feelings of self worth - the men and women that make the sacrifices that make ours a better place to live. They are the genuine cowards of our age, and should be shunned.
