Baha I understand. I think too many can make them a little sore too. Just get some Zen back into your brain

I know, I shouldn't have let her go that long, but I didn't want to ride her until I figured out what was wrong....

I do think she'll pick it up really fast. It'll just suddenly click and we'll be back to where we started. Hopefully. Besides, what would I do if I couldn't train her?? This'll just give me a few extra days of training. Just kidding. I think she could live to be 62 and I wouldn't get her completely trained.

Okay, not too many circles. But I want her to be PERFECT!!! I have been working on some other stuff, so hopefully she isn't getting too bored.

Aww man I'm sorry. Don't feel too bad! 2 weeks is a very long time for some horses...Dante forgot everything because I didn't ride him for 6 days. Totally messed him up. It just really depends. The good news is she'll pick it up fast!

Remember, not too many circles!! You guys don't want to get bored Good work...keep it up and have fun!

I keep telling Breez I'm going to start feeding her ginkgo biloba (you know that herb that's supposed to help with your memory function). I gave her those 2 (or so) weeks off thinking that it was some kind of pain or whatever that she was experiencing. Changed my mind on that like I said.

NOW, she has decided she has forgotten everything I've ever taught her. Well, not quite, but as soon as we start trotting, up comes the head, and out goes the nose. I was just about crying today. What ails her?? She could NOT have forgotten in so short a time. She started to get a little better today, but oooh, I felt like knocking my head against a wall.

On a brighter note, we're mastering circles, even when her head pops up. Well, I just had to rant to somebody. We'll get there. Hopefully we don't get tooooo much snow this winter so I can keep riding.

*sigh* I was going to have Jillian video me this evening, but she was going to ride Khavele, and it's a good thing I didn't. Well, then you'd have the pleasure of seeing Goon at one of her "worser" times.

Anyway, she wanted to go down to the paddock, but once we got down there and she started getting her little behind worked off, she decided she'd rather go up to the pasture. But once up there.....the paddock sounded awfully nice. Anyway, just another speed bump that seems to happen so often when training her.

I'll find some way to stymie her.

Of course I'm going to give you the credit. I couldn't have even begun to have done it myself without tips and advice and such. And you're the one that kindly gave your time and knowledge.
