- Right now I have a 12 year old registered QH that I have been showing, a two year old QH/Appy cross that I got through a rescue, he is turning into an amazing horse. And a 5 month old mutt horse, that I got at the sale barn, she was in the kill pen and I couldn't let her go.

WOW, this turned out a lot longer than I planned.
I have had Bandit for two years now. I got him as a 2 year old stud that had never been handled. He was very underweight and needed a lot of work. For the first year I worked entirely on ground manners, I ponied him all over the place with my other horse and hauled him to as many new places as I could. Last year I started lightly riding him, walk and trot only. We did a lot of pasture rides checking cows and just getting comfortable...
