    I love it here. It's a beautiful country with a great climate and great people. Lots of horses and horse activities. Cost of living isn't quite as cheap as it was a few years ago, but still affordable compared to the US or most other countries. Nice to hear from you.

    Originally from Florida, I've lived in Costa Rica for several years, am married to a Costa Rican and have 2 adult stepdaughters living at home. We live in San Jose, the capital city, but also have a 15 acre horse ranch a couple of hours away.

    All are Costa Rican Criollo (grade horses). All are different. Several are pintos, one is part Peruvian and is gaited, another is part Arabian, etc.
