Oh my. So, so sorry to hear about your dog. That has to have been an awful, awful experience. I just don't know what to say. Wish I was there to give you a big hug. Losing a special animal buddy is the worst thing to go through. I take the death of my furry/hairy critters even worse than I took the death of my parents. Guess I think of them as my "kids". The saying, time heals all wounds, may be true in some ways but the hurt of losing a pet can linger for a long, long time.
We had a very, very nice day here today. The humidity went bye bye and the sky was such a beautiful blue with a light breeze. We hauled down to the river valley and got in about four and a half hours of riding. I would have liked to have ridden more but my hubby "pooped" out on me. There were some friends of ours down there so we had a nice visit with them. We didn't get to ride together because they were out already when we got there and then we were still riding when they went out again.
We had some wind here a couple days ago when it tried to storm on us. Only .3 of an inch of rain but enough wind to blow a lot of branches and small sticks on the lawn for me to pick up. Most everything in my garden was leaning to the north. I had to prop the broccoli up again and a couple of the tomato plants were pretty beat up. Just when things start to look nice it seems mother nature has to beat them up a little! HA HA
Well, it's late and I should be getting to bed. Just stopped in to check and see if anything was new here on the forum and let you know I was thinking about you.
Again, I'm so sorry about your pup. Sure hope there wasn't much suffering involved.
Talk to you again soon when my eyes aren't crossing on me,
Pat
