I know my horse's better than any one and I thank the people who support me and listen and know I can ask advice when needed and pretty sad when I get harrassed enough I feel I have to take down my thread due to one person.

Thanks . I am losing weight for myself and I have arthritis and it was harder to do anything when I was heavier and I knew it was not healthy and plus for my husband even though he says he does not care and loves me for me.. I also am dealing with a friend's horse that was taken and how we worry that someone that had a vendetta againest her has the horse and right now the RCMP won't do anything to help which I am going to try to send some emails out this morning to higher up in the RCMP to see if something can be done.. This woman runs the only horse rescue on the island where I live and she has saved so many horse's, but had made some enemies too..

Evergrn....I just wanted to say Kudos for having the courage to do what you want to do, in spite of other people's negative attitudes. That thread in regards women being so critical of their weight was a very volatile one, but you have such a positive outlook! Congratulations on your weight loss, and keep up the good work. Just make sure you do it for you, and your health, not because you feel you have to conform to the image of what society feels is an acceptable image for a woman.
I am 5'8 and 160 pounds now, but last year at this time I was close to 200. I am a curvy girl....there is no getting around it, and I love it. I feel healthier too...and that is the key.

Sooooo...keep on riding and enjoying your horses, and please keep up your good outlook on life. It is refreshing to see!!
