Umm... So I'm not really sure what to say here :D I'm 17 and I've been riding since I was twelve. My horse, Jasper, is my baby and we do eventing together. We've been really struggling with dressage, but I think we're finally getting it! Cross-country is our best phase!
I also train and excersize other people's horses. My main project ATM is a paint/TB cross named Joe. He's such a sweetheart!

When I'm not riding, I'm still a student. I haven't graduated from highschool yet, but I've already enrolled at my community college. I'm majoring in psychology and hoping to earn my two year degree by the time I'm 19.

So yesterday I got the chance to have a lesson with an Advanced rider!! Very cool, but a little disheartening. I rode an awesome little school horse named Gin Diamond. He was really, really good. I'd hoped to work on jumping, but the instructor (I'm going to with hold her name for privact reasons) said that my base of support wasn't good enough, so I did flatwork the entire lesson.
By the time it was over, I really felt like I'd learned a lot, but she said that I should scale back my...

So it's raining and nasty outside and I'm stuck in the house. My horse is stuck in his stall, and he's bored and cranky.
I know we need the rain, but sometimes I wish it would just rain at night, and be pretty and sunny during the day!

I just finished my book-- the Spellman Files, if anyone is interested. It was cute and funny, not particularly good literature but really entertaining. It's about a family of PIs, specifically the oldest daughter Isabel. The tone was really...

I've posted a couple of times to this forum about various problems I've had with my sister and her horse.
The horse, Kodi, is a draft cross who came from questionable circumstances and who developed a terrible habit of balking when ridden a few months after we got him. Now, I've spent over a year working with this horse, and he can now be ridden fairly easily at all three gaits. During this year, I've ridden him three to five times a week, and my sister has ridden him sporadically, and done...

Okay, this is a weird little segment of a story that I wrote about about a certain character, trying to get to know him and figure out a story to put him into. Here goes:

Trespassing

With a final moan, the rusty latch gave in and the door swung inward revealing a room filled with dusty sunlight. Isiadore stood silent for a moment before he stepped inside the abandoned building. He always felt a sense of wonder, mixed with sadness on these adventures. There was the...

Well, I just finished up my summer course at community college, and I have to admit this was my favorite course so far!

It was a film class and we got to see some good movies that I'd never heard of before. So, if anyone is interested, here are the movies from class that I liked and hated:

Liked:

Run Lola Run: I thought the editing in this movie was very original and I LOVED the story and the fast pacing.

Harold and Maude: Okay, I thought...
