I didn't start riding at a young age like a lot of riders. I didn't have a lot of opportunities too and my parents weren't going to pay for any lessons or take me to a barn whenever I wanted to go. I loved horses since I was little and as I got older I came up with ways to get more involved. I'm still learning a lot and I love them more each day. I want to major in Equine Science.

Ok... I just got back from the barn and I was covered in mud from the knee down. In fact, covered doesn't even begin to describe it. The mud was oozing between my toes everytime I stepped down. It was cold, wet and blech. The mud even made my toes raisin up like when you've been in the tub for way too long.

One of the people I work with (Maryrose)keeps her horse over on the landlord's part of the property and he had the horses turned out. Problem is the walkway to get to the feild

Ok I'm not sure why I named this journal what I did. Perhaps it'll come to me, but for now I'm not sure. So how to start a new journal... who knows? I keep a personal leather bound journal at home. I've been keeping a journal for God knows how long. I guess I figure that when I get older I can pass it onto my grandchildren before I die. Maybe something I write will inspire them... or maybe they'll just be glad to hold a piece of our family's history. That's what I want my journals to contain......
