I'm 5'5 on my little 13.3-14hh guy and I feel huge sometimes but he doesn't seem to care as much :P Haha thats quite the leap in size there! It must feel weird going from a tiny horse to a big strided one! Does your mare have like a billion different trot levels and gears? Cause I know Vespa does...its comfy when hes joggin along but when he finds his 10000000th gear its like riding a trotting rocket :P
I know when I'm on my trainers little arab mare she feels HUGE but shes only just over 15hh if that! Its like riding on a fully loaded spring lol!

They should sell bumper stickers saying 'my Pony cost less than your warmblood and performs better!' hehe

For sure! Before if someone told me to ride a pony I would just kinda laugh cause, come on its a PONY! But now I LOVE them! I'm starting pony club and gaming with my little guy which I CANNOT wait for! Its awesome when theres like 10 ponies all flying down the field at the same time! Not to mention when ya fall theres less of a way to go :P

Yeah I've heard that too! Mind you Vespa wasn't a purposeful breeding I think. As far as I know he came from a farm where they have tons of horses and not all of them are worked or cared for very well . Apparently he was 'broke to ride' in a day...and then left in a field for the remainder of him time there lol! Hard to believe though since when he came here he was wild as all get out!
I think they're great crosses though, really smart and built nicely.

As far as I know he is an appy (pony sized at that) and a paint/Qh cross.

YAY! Butler is my favorite, too. I know he was not classically trained, but I have always felt that the Phantom should be a Baratone/Tenor, not a 1rst tenor, both of which Crawford and Parano are. I don't like Tenors anyway. Too brassy sounding. Give me a deep, powerful voice any day!
