aww I'm sorry to hear your having money problems. Believe me I know how hard it is. My family is also having major money issues. It's scary and then having horses that need help, makes it even more stressful.

Me either. I mean, you could still be a good farrier again once you get used to the change.....right?.......and he does have an assistant with him all the time. Well he did when he was trimming Jake and Char, I don't know if he is still with him. Could missing one eye really make that big of a difference?? Uh I'm so confused.

Yeah I agree. I just don't know how many more are out there around our area. We have heard bad things about a lot of them. I will not have a farrier that abuses my horses or does terrible work and that's basically what's left.

Our farrier before this guy was great, always on schedule, treated the horses great, the horses liked him, and he did nice work but then he got kicked in the head by a horse and lost his eye. He is back to work but do you think that him not having his left eye would throw off this ability to do hooves? I know that sounds horrible but that's what I am worried about.

So glad to hear you and Camron are working out. Casper's surgery?!?!?! What happen?
Ah man, hopefully you will get your awards. I would be so bummed if I never got them. (congrats on them tho )

Uh things are ok I guess. I am getting a lot of stress put on me about school, working, and the horses, At times I just want to pull my hair out. The horses are pretty good tho. We are just having an issue with our farrier. Last night I was riding Char and she fell. She was fine but then she tripped again. And 2 nights ago I was riding Jake and he was tripping also. This farrier we are using is the most unorganized person I have ever met. With every Farrier we have used, the horses were always on a schedule, you never had to call to remind they need a trim but with this guy, we had to call everytime (He has trimmed the horses like 5 or 6 times) to remind him and he still waits 3 days to come out. He is really ******* me off. If he doesn't come this weekend, we are looking for a new farrier. Why can't we find one that does good work and stays on the horses schedule? ARG. Whoo Sorry about that.

You don't suck at it at all.
Yeah probably about 98% of the time I LOVE winter than the other 2% is just "ehh it's so cold." . But I do love snow and for some reason I LOVE shoveling snow. I think it's fun. I am always the one to do it when we get a lot of snow.

It kinda funny cause last year we got a lot of snow and all my neighbors were outside with their snow blowers and here I am with a shovel. They laughed at me because when they were done I had half a driveway left to do. Ha ha

I can't wait until we get snow. )
