At that amount, with that feed, it honestly wouldn't be worth it (even though it's free, I realize) to feed it at all. I guess you could, but it's not going to make a big nutritional or calorie impact on the diet.
Regarding the LMF thread (so you don't have to keep finding it over and over!) yes they only feed 1lb, and I know it is supposed to be fed at a minimum of 4 lbs- but can I add TC Lite that I have to it to make a complete diet? Like another 2 lbs or something on top of the 1 lb of LMF. I mean, this is a short term diet anyways, but I would like the extra vits and stuff when he's only on grass.
I could easily do that, but they feed full meals so that would probably end up being 4+ flakes of alfalfa per day, which seems like a little too much to me...agh, I'll have to figure all that out I guess.
Yea, that makes sense. Although I will be able to pick what and how much he is fed when I move, so he could easily end up getting the same amount of protein, right? So maybe the 12 would still work?
Well, I'd just go ahead with the Enrich 32 if it were me. If you were staying with the situation you're in right now, I'd do 12. But it's not worth switching that soon down the line.
Right now he's getting 2 flakes alfalfa 2 flakes grass, came from full pasture. When I move in Sept he'll go to hay morning/night (not sure how much/what) plus irrigated pasture (probably about 6 hrs).
