Hello everyone...I am very new to this horse owning business, and so of course, I am full of questions. I recently purchased a 6 year old 1/4 arab, 1/4 appy, and 1/2 quarter horse bay gelding. I was just wondering if everyone would be willing to offer helpful hints that may benefit my horse and I. I have the basics down as far as hay and water and such, but I am sure there is a lot more that I need to know. In addition, he has never been on grain before, but I was toying with the idea of starting him on some with the upcoming winter months. In addition, what shots and vet work will he need done?
