I'd just repeat everything you've been doing... repetition is always key when they're that young! Also, maybe when you tie her up, once she's standing nicely untie her right away... make those lessons super short until she gets the idea.

You could try bathing her, fly spray, light lunging - at a walk is all I would suggest as her joints are still forming, take her other places, teach her to square up.. that's all I can think of! I'd love to see pictures of her!

yep! I've done all her training myself so far... which hasn't been much LOL! She mostly just knows how to move away from pressure - her hind quarters, pick up her feet, stand tied, I've sacked her out a lot with random things, taken her for walks around my property and ponied her!

Don't worry about questions... I'd be glad to help with anything I can

Hey! Ok, a LOT has happened since my last blog. I haven't been on in forever so this is bad. Ok, I have introduced her to fly spray. She didn't really like it at first, well, she still doesn't like it but she stands anyway. Which is good. I also introduced her to a plastic bag to keep her from spooking at stuff like that, unlike my Arab who spooks at his own shadow. I keep rubbing her down, touching her legs and especially her hind end and making sure she's not spooked when you walk behind her....

Hey, i'm totally new to this website. Actually I'm totally new to blogging and stuff like that. I'm not really a computer buff. Anyway, I just got a yearling filly, her name is Penny. She was pretty wild when we caught her. She wouldn't hardly come up to anyone. So the day we caught her, she was reeeeally scared. So for the couple of days I just hung around so she would get used to me. She is actually learning really fast. Then, when I tried to catch, she would NOT have that. So my cousin helped...
