I'm sorry, I forgot that the reason I purchased this particular saddle is because It stated in the description that these saddles were made to conform to horses regardless of the size of their withers. If you want, look up aussie saddles and see what it says about wither fitting. Mine is almost an exact replica of the outback saddlery saddle that my husband has. The only difference between mine and his is the color, and the stirups. The saddle is gorgeous, and if you wind up not being able to use it, I gaurantee you will have no trouble selling it. The only reason I have not listed it yet, is that I am considering taking in another rescue horse that has a longer back. Let me know if this is what your looking for.
