If seems the lower leg it's the hardest...LOL. But tie those stirrups back if you can, and work at the walk, jog and lope like that...you'll get the feel of correct position. Also, do that thing I left in a post on your first vids you put on...where you bring your lower legs up behind the cantle. Hurts like heck, but when you bring your lower leg down from the knee...that's correct position. Also, relax your thigh more and use your lower legs more, and it will help to hold them back.

Hey...thanks for the reputation thingie! You looked better in this video than in the last. Your upper body is spot on...you stay nice and square, chin up etc. I have the same problem with my lower leg at the lope I found dropping the stirrup a hole helps. As for the arch, just bring your hips back a little to help flatten the back. Your hands are an easy fix, just bring them a little lower on either side of that horn. If you were riding WP, your rein hand would be ok...because it's out in front of you a little more. But in horsemanship, bring it back a little so your arms are the same, with the same bend in the elbow. It's easier to make corrections on the horse this way too, but merely breaking up at the wrist and bumping up with your hand FROM the wrist. Know what I mean?? LOL. You are SO close to be text book, you don't realize it.

Semi-finals for IHSA is almost here. Today we left PDX and headed to Chicago and from there we hopped on a puddle jumper to Indianapolis. We had to be at PDX at 6:30 am and our flight left 2 hours later. Leaving PDX was kind of scary because as we loaded the plane we smelled smoke and one of the engines was smoking up a storm. Not a good sign for a 4 hour ride. Did I mention I am not a fan of flying? So from there we had a 2 hour layover for a 30 minute flight.

The 3 hour difference
