Well, it's been a while. Wasn't real sure I wanted to continue, but it's like a bad habit--just too hard to quite.

What have we been doing this week? Well the Equistrian Team had another event this last weekend. They were going against the A teams. Considering they were outnumbered about 5 -1 in each class, they did ok. They put together another 25 points. Not too bad--god the day was miserable to start. The arena was under water. They cancelled the jumping classes and some...

What a wonderful weekend. The weather was beautiful and we had a great time at the show on Saturday. Cowboy was an absolute angel--mostly. I was so proud of how he behaved. He was a good boy. The judge complimented him on his behaviour in the classes. Some of them were big for him to wait through 20-25 and I think there were 28 in the color class. We got 2 ribbons. Yah!!!

It was perfect until he threw himself over backwards loading him in the trailer to go home. God,...

OMG--I am so excited for tomorrow I already have butterflies in my stomach. It will be the first time I have stepped into a show arena in over 20 years. I worked Cowboy last night and he did so good. He is really settling down a lot. He didn't fuss around at all. I am just praying that I don't do anything stupid, like go to trot and trip over my feet and fall on my face. That would be something I would do.

Cory took me out to dinner last night. I was very suprised. I went...

Cory's game was bad last night. He played a lot--but 42-20. That is terrible. There will be a lot of running today I am sure.

Stupid me signed up to work concession stand at the game Friday. With the horse show on Saturday, I am going to try to get out of it. I have so much to do to get Cowboy ready for Saturday. I plan on trying to get some of it done tonight--get him trimmed and stuff. He hasn't been outside for a couple days, I will let him out for a while first. Stupid...

I am so proud.... my sister and a friend of hers started an Equine Team at our local high school. They have 6 girls on their team and went to their first competition this last weekend. They are in Division C and they got second place out of 9 teams in their division. They totaled 57 points. I think that is fabulous. They are figuring the ins and outs of how this works. I think the fact that they scored points at all tells what kind of showman they have. The school donated $500.00 to them...
