- [7/7/08] My first horse Brandy was my best friend for 7 years, She died 4/21/08 and I miss her terribly. I sold my gelding King so I could buy my new mare Cool Time a month before I lost Brandy. Coolie came at just the right time, when I needed a friend.
[7/22/08] Well I got myself a colt! He's a 4 month old QH colt, and he's such a sweetie! He is a very levelheaded colt, and so eager to please. I absolutely LOVE him! Coolie has really excepted him, which is very good considering I bought him partly to keep her company! She is really mothering him, it's really cute!

Well I FINALLY decided on a name for my colt, his name is Flamin' Fury (or Flame N Fury, I haven't quite decided on the spelling yet)! It took me forever to decide on a name for him, when ironically Fury was one of the first names I thought of when we brought him home!

I just found out my friend Kim's horse Nash had to be put to sleep, he was an ex-race TB that had been trained in jumping/3 day eventing and only 11 years old when he died.

I brought my new colt home yesterday, and he is settling in very well! I haven't introduced him to my mare yet as she is not here right now, (she is at my cousins barn at the moment) but I will be bringing her home today and I will let you all know how they get along!
