lol, glad you like it! When I was in office cadet last year, my "office buddy" was into horses too! We were late to class one day because we were talking to much!

Well the filly is healing pretty good but is still on stall rest. Her mama the one that has her shoulder funky is about the same and I can't work her to build muscle to help hold the shoulder in place because she is stuck in the stall with the filly. My palamino that is for sale is still for sale, but or pony is perfectly fine! Hopefully the filly will be allowed out in small doses and I can start to work mama to have her muscle tone up by the end of Sept. Thats the goal any way! Hopefully the palamino sells soon so I can pay on the vet bill and get more hay! Thanks

Thanks, all is going really well, yesterday we had some horrific rain (apparently we had a months worth of rain in one day yesterday) and Baby was shivering a bit so we had to get them into the stable (easier said than done) this morning baby was lay down flat out in the shavings so she settled well, I will be aware about the baby starting to nibble, she does love sucking your fingers, or coat, or just about anything but we are going to stop that! Your baby looks to be adorable I love it when they lie down and fall asleep on there own noses - so cute! Any other hints and tips of caring for a foal??? Thanks, Sarah

you know the little baby you see in my avatar...
well he grew up and is now my big baby
he is six months old and we have just started weaning him.
he is about a km away. he can hear and see his mum from certain parts of the paddock and vise versa...unfortunately...
i go up and see him every day. we are working on his leading skills. he is very good. he can move off the touch to disengage the hind qaurters and fore quarters. he picks up his feet (all four!) but falls over...
