If this float is a go-er (mate is inspecting it for me next weekend) then the yards on it would come in handy for that. I hope.

Oh, I don't want to put them in there full time. Only for shows to stop the beggars from rolling the night before. It is a pipe dream though methinks. Hehe.

I must give Matt some credit. At least he knows how to reverse a trailer. The Army came in handy for that skill. He's better at it than I am but I can do it if I have to. He's supposed to be a handyman. The next project is to try and build some stables. My next door neighbour is a builder and I might have to go talk to him about how I'm going to do it. I've been eyeing off his dog run and if I upscale it a bit, that'd make a great stable template. Its taken a month to get this far with the roundyard but at least it is moving along. I have the perfect spot for the stables too..

I'm a little worried about my husband. He had the gate attached to the metal post for the roundyard. Well, The clamps were put on wrong and you couldn't open the gate. Had to turn the spacer around and put the long bolts at the front and the short ones at the back and he had to ask me why I wanted the nut facing towards the outside. I think he's the nut (will have to supervise him more thoroughly with fencing *sigh*). After the roundyard is built we're going to fence off the arena area with white sighter wire and capped T posts. Mainly to keep Possum from running away with Raleigh (not that she will as the pony has decided that Raleigh's kicks are now ineffectual and she stands still - which leads to tanty panties Raleigh).

That really isn't good - about the water. I hope you get some rain soon. You definitely need it more than we do.

I want to know where my rain is too. I let Possum & Paddy out today to 'mow' the grass patches. They did a good job of that. Matt raked in some more grass seed. Good thing the bore is doing well though it'd be nice to get some good rain soon. Rained a bit yesty but not enough to give a good soak

I suggest you stock up on Valium now for when she does A grade! The new roundyard is starting to come together. Bought a gate for it today and Matt has cemented that in. We're slowly moving the tyres from the old roundyard over to the new one. Just putting them up to about 3ft. Will be good once it is finished.

Well we have ice pellets, snow and rain due by morning.... would you care for some? It seems to travel well, I'll just have to give it some directions!

No, LOL. I was over at the trainer's and another trainer who is Aussie was there and my trainer said the Aussie called him a d.i.n.k or something similar, and it meant tightwad or someone who likes to get good deals.
