Just read your answer on how many braids to have. The thread did go a little all over the place! You got it right, odd number down the mane plus one in the forelock and one in the tail if it's not pulled. BTW braids look the best when they are sewn in, also means you can do them the night before the show. There's lots of info on the internet of how to sew them in. Good luck
