WOW! Talk about BRIGHT!!!!!!!! LMAO Thank you for the compliment. Nobody has to agree with me for me to like them. I have several pro slaughter friends, and we would give up anything and everything for each other. It's just when you have a pasture full of what people do to these animals, you can't help but feel their pain and want to do everything in your power while you're alive to help them. I live with the results everyday, and it just rips my heart out!!! I would rather see humans suffer for their actions and mistakes than the animals. But, that's just me. Again, I have no ill feelings towards you either. Thanks for listening!!!!

You bet she does! I am trying to lease him out, unfortunately, but she understands that it is better than selling.

My car is cream colored, and it blends in with all the other white, cream colored cars, if it was not for the remote unlock thing, I would lose it! lmao!

I am glad to be back! The critters are doing good, we have had to do some shifting around and there are a couple up for lease, but all in all things are going well. There were a couple of changes over the summer, I sold Blaze and Lizzy, and got Mickey, a 12HH Hackney pony for my daughter. He is adorable!

My pony boys seem to like the snow the best. The colt is taking everything in stride.

    Nice to hear from you!

Yep, fall migration.

I participated in a lakeshore count today in southwestern Michigan as part of a coordinated effort from Leelanau down to New Buffalo.

My dad and I counted (actually, I should say my dad wrote down the birds as I yelled them out to him) for the specified two hours and ended up with 1,006 individual birds of 39 species. Pretty good! I'm looking forward to seeing what numbers/species the other birders had. One rarity - a Brant off of Grand Haven -...

YES!!!

I rode Lacey in the new arena today! It's not huge, but it's an immense improvement over the round pen that I've been using for two years.

She was great, and seemed to enjoy the fact that I could now do a pattern with her, rather than just ride around in circles and smaller circles. She was a little spooky at first, but not bad. He jog and lope were both pretty nice!

Marrker got ridden in the roundpen, for the reason that there's no fencing...

And I'll be heading up to Michigan's best part--the UP.

The UP is unlike any other part of Michigan, with its extensive coniferous and boreal forest and bogs. With those special habitats are special birds found nowhere else in Michigan. And I tend to have pretty good luck finding those birds.

Since I have good luck finding them, I occasionally go with people to help them. I'll be doing that this weekend, for two days of intense birding. Our target list has about 12 hard...

Catch the dripping sarcasm in my typing...

Last weekend I went on a camping trip some friends and some not-friends. (Friends of my friends)

Well....I forgot a swimming suit so I just wore some shorts to go swimming in. (And a top lol)
The shorts were pretty sheer.

Well anyway, my sister went to church today (I didn't, too sick...), and she came back telling me, "XXXXX told me that you weren't wearing underwear when your were...

Grrr...

Every single cold I get turns into sinusitis, and if that's not enough, I get colds nearly once a month. Unfortunately, these colds always coincide with "that time", so I am certainly miserable, and miserable to be around!

Another thing my sinusitis coincides with if church pianist. The last three colds I've gotten have been so bad that I've had to find a replacement pianist for me at church. Wow I'm reliable. (No, I'm not playing sick so I...
