Well Arnold wouldnt really eat or drink for a day and half then with traveling he lost some weight.. He placed 3rd... The judging wasnt that great.. But oh well.. I am totally in love with Packer.. He is such a nice horse.. Arnold was being mean in the trailer and kicked him.. Luckly didnt hurt him.. He broke on of the slants so now it wont shut.. Other then that I had a great time.. Just have to get my trailer fixed... Did you got to the Paint show? If so how did you do?

Thanks! That is Dusty our stallion and one of the bloodhound puppies. They are so cute! I have one that is always trying to take the horses for walks by picking up the leadropes!

We have been very busy and I think it is starting to wear on me but I will come out ok. How are you?

We did okay, western is not really Bon's thing I just take him for the experience and to help out the club. The trail course was probably our worst, the warm up area to the side was partially hidden by trees so horses kept appearing from behind the trees and it spooked Bon a few times but this was only his second time on trail and considering he didnt spook at anything on the trail course itself I was happy. In the pleasure we got all 3rds I believe which is good to me considering the people beating me were my instructor and one of the girls that came with the judge. In the horsemanship Bon was tired he hadnt been drinking properly so I just did my last class and skipped the last chance because he was getting really tired. I plan to go to the SAAHA at J-six (especially since its much closer than the last SAAHA) and I believe my instructor and her barn will be coming as well.

We are good! I am taking 2 of them to a small show this weekend and doing our first reining class! Ya, too hot to even be out in the middle of the day. We will be done until the fall as well but then should be hitting some of the bigger shows and expect to be seeing you at some.

After having the new girls for a whole week, I am very pleased at where we are at. Amanda has been working with Freckles and Mo. Freckles because although she has a good start, she still needs lots of work and Mo, well is barely started. I have been working with Nikki because she is the most finished of all of them and it is helping me to learn the ins and outs of reining on a horse that has a good start. DeDe has been doing her weekly longeline training and is doing fantastic. She moves out...

Since Lexy has moved on to Norway, and KC is still in work but not hard since we have bred her, this is changing a bit. I will be writing about the 3 new girls, DeDe, Dusty and Belle.

Until I get some more weight on Dusty and Belle, their work outs won't be super hard especially now that it has hit the 100 plus degree temps. We only have 1 more show this summer and then itwill slow down until the fall. We have lots to do before Sept. 21 so lets hope everyone stays healthy and happy!...

Well, got back on Lexy and she did ok. She did buck on me the second time but not bad. She is coming along really well SMS wise except for her pivot. She just hasn't figured out to shift her weight back to do a good pivot. I know she will get it I just need to be patient. DeDe's wound is healing really well, it never swelled like the vet thought it would and the stitches have held. I will see how it looks on Friday to see if they can come out, may leave them in a few more days. Hopefully she will...

Well I have made the decision to move our first show date back to late April(if they have that show still scheduled) or the mid May ones. I was all excited about showing them but waiting a bit longer won't hurt them one bit and will only make it so that they are better at the next show. I have no one to go with me and I don't want to have to handle 2 young horses that have never been to shows before. Although I believe Mo took DeDe to a couple. Anyway, we also have a family wedding that...

The weekend started out sorta ugly. Lots of wind again and I got sick on Friday evening. Lexy was the only one I worked with and not very long since I felt like throwing up. I tried to ride on Saturday but had no energy, I guess I was still recovering. So, finally got back in the saddle on Sunday and had a fabulous ride with Lexy. She was almost perfect(or at least I thought so) at the walk/trot and her transistion up and down. Since I was focusing on walk/trot we didn't...
