- I had horses growing up, but was forced to sell them due to family circumstance as a teenager. I vowed to have another. My wonderful husband saw to it when the time was right. How I came about finding my horse I believe was fate. She was 1 1/2 when we went to see her on my birthday. My husband knew right away, she was the one for me. I wasn't so sure. I thought I wanted one I could jump on and ride that day. So after going home and thinking about her for a few hours, I called and told the man I wanted her. The rest is, as they say 'history'.
