    Hi Aurical. I didn't want to hijack the thread, so I thought I'd reply here. Thanks for the sympathy. I'm still working through all of the emotions, sad, upset, anger, numb, but at least I know he had a happy last few months. I'm looking for another big guy since I just am not "me" without a horse now. I'm struggling with moving on, but that is the reality with animals, they don't live as long. I'm sure I'll have a thread once I find my next guy. I'm looking at two this weekend.

    Just in case you’re curious. They aren’t Belgians, but maybe it would be harder to have a Lucas look-alike.
