oh thats good that you get to go to the funeral.. And I'm glad you went well on your mid term.

and once again, you are more than welcome.

I can't wait to see you either!
blah, my presentation today is going to be a horror but I could care less really!

He'd rather shoot guns then ride a horse. I also don't have enough horses for him and me to go on a ride together. I think he's a little afraid of them... lol.

I don't know if Jed is going to stick around. I haven't taken him on the trails yet and I would REALLY like to. They haven't given me a definite date when they're heading back. If I took for a trail ride I wouldn't give him back! Time will tell!

Quite the fancy profile you have up! Love the new profile picture!!

So the stagette's on the 17th... hopefully you can get a flight out! (hahaha)

Rob (my fiancee) is a city boy who *tries* to be redneck... haha. He likes quadding, hunting, fishing and all the outdoorsy stuff but isn't really "hardcore"... if that makes sense?!

He's been out to the barn a few times with me but last time he was there (Sunday) he was telling me how to ride... (he's been on a horse maybe 5 times...) Then he gets bored and leaves. Ah well. I'm hoping Jed's owners don't head back until after the long weekend because Saturday and Sunday are supposed to be gorgeous!!

There's two ways you can do it.
I have a hard time explaining these things so I will make a Picture tutorial for you.

First way to do it (I do it this way so I don't lose any of the picture)

    Step 1:
Open your image, then when it's open grab the crop tool and select around your Image. Then press "Alt J" and grab one of the corners and drag outward.
(By the way, you don't have to hold "Alt J" if you don't want to. It is just a short cut to make sure all sides are equal. If you choose not to use it, you will have to do each side by hand)
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n.../untitled2.jpg

    Step 2:
Once your sides are equal, press enter. You will see that now you have a border around your image. If it is not the color you want. Go to the foreground/background (the black and green squares you will see in the picture) and make the foreground the color what you want, then select the Paint bucket tool and click on your border.
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n.../untitled3.jpg

    Step 3:
You should now have you image with a border.
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n.../untitled4.jpg

Second way you can do it

    Step 1:
First open your image, Then we have to duplicate the layer. Right click on the background layer and choose "duplicate layer"
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n.../untitled5.jpg

    Step 2:
Then when the box comes up, press "OK"
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n.../untitled6.jpg

    Step 3:
Now, Right click again on the duplicated layer and Choose "Blending Options"
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n.../untitled7.jpg

    Step 4:
    Go down to "Stroke"
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n.../untitled8.jpg

    Step 5:
First change the "Position" to inside. Now you can pick your color, the size of the border etc...
    http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n.../untitled9.jpg

    Step 6:
When you done, press ok and you should see your border.

If none of this makes sense or if you have a question, just let me know.

When I found the picture I wanted, I saved it on my computer and opened it in photoshop to add a border around it then uploaded it to here.

Well I went to the funeral Saturday. It was weird being there by myself. It was a sad sad day, but funerals help me to move on. I'm still waiting to see if I'm able to go to Lawren's.. it's tomorrow right during my 40% midterm. My prof said he'd call me today and let me know when I can write it so I'm on pins and needles waiting for my phone to ring. Dr. Vause said something interesting - he's the one that started AARC. He said "Those who love deeply, hurt deeply" . I think that applies...

My entries are so depressing. It does help to write things down tho, so just bare with me.

Here's the story that was published in the paper. Shows how amazing they really were.

Finally found out some more information... Scotty (the one in the military) filled me in. Jason survived - he punctured a lung and can't use his left arm, but at least he's alive. Scotty went to see him yesterday in Edmonton - I guess they were all the way up there when it happened as they were driving to the rigs.

Jason fell asleep at the wheel, for just a moment, then woke up and saw the ditch coming and tried to correct, but over corrected and flipped the vehicle. Aaron died...

I don't even know where to start.

Ironic tho, given my last blog entry.

My sister just told me that two of the guys that we know through AARC (Alberta Adolescent Recovery Centre) died last night. In a car accident. There's a third guy who is in critical condition. Two of them went through the program with us, and the other worked there as a peer councellor.

It's not fair. These three ... I don't even know what to say. I'm so angry. So confused.

Just forewarning... this entry might be kinda weird for some people.

I don't understand death first of all. Well I do from a biological perspective, but I don't understand freak accidents, or suicide or murder and things like that.

My dad recently went to Winnipeg to visit an old friend of his who has breast cancer, and while he was there I guess his friend was joking around like old times. He's in a neck brace because the cancer has attacked the nerves in his...
