On Thursday, when the lesson at my house got cancelled, Trish suggested we have a lesson at her house today. I was super exited. I braided Howdy's tail and everything. In my head, Howdy would immediatley get used to his surroundings, be a great horse, and we'd have a perfect jumping lesson. How wrong I was! When we got to Trish's house, Howdy was really nervous. OK. So Trish is my riding instructor. Every year she has a summer party thing. This year, she asked me to do pony rides! First of all, I love her pony, Red. And second of all, I'm super excited that she trusts me enough to do the pony rides! (I'm her only student that's going to the party!) So I'm really happy about that.

But I'm sad because we just got back from my best-friend's grandma's wake. It was really sad. She was so upset. I knew the grandma, too.

I'm mad! For the past week, the weather has been perfect for riding. But I was supposed to have a jumping lesson today, and what happened? It rained!!! But Trish (my instuctor) said for my next lesson, instead of having it here, we could do it at her house and I could jump all her pretty jumps in her new arena. So, whatever, I'm just mad I woke up at 8:00 for no reason.

OK, I'm not really sure how this works, but I'm gonna treat my blog kinda like a journal type thing .

We had to go pick Rocky (my dog) up from the vet yesterday. He had to have surgurey. Nothing major, but he had this thing under his tail that had to be removed . They also pulled a tooth and removed his dewclaws. Poor Rocky! He had to wear one of those funnel things, and we got got home, Howdy (my horse) was like, "OMG! What is that thing?!".
