Oh goodness I am so sorry about your dog.
Not but three years before we got Freckles our dog of 14 years was put to sleep. She slept in my room every night for all of those years. So it's a double blow to lose so many in such a short time.
Thank you so much. It really is hard and just takes time I suppose. I hope you feel better about your dog in time as well. (hugs) - Thank you so much for the comment. I didn't mean to make you cry. It is just hard to have a reaction at first when you hear on the way home. It hit me like 2 weeks later. Ugh.

My Grandma died last night and I am so very, very sad.

I decided to make updates every week or so, since there isn't a whole lot to talk about....lol.
Jack has been a little post/stiff when pivoting on the front right hoof. I also notice that he tends to "point" this foot more in the pasture. Have been taking it easy with him. Just working on a few sets of backing each day and stretches. He is due to be reshod on Wednesday.
Have been watching some DVD's from a farrier/hoofcare conference. There was a very interesting...

No work yesterday.... after the fireworks extravaganza the neighbors put on.... Jack was sore and slightly limping on the right front.
Better today.
Small hill work, carrot stretches, backing up, and walk in hand over ground poles. Still not 100% but much better than yesterday.
He is such a goo.ber! LOL! He loves doing carrot stretches because he knows he will eventually get a treat. Now when I am not working him..... and he is just out in the pasture,...

No work today! Because I am a slacker and had to clean house for my New Year's Party company. Back to the grind tomorrow.
