Smile Meet our Chickens

Finally I have got round to taking pics of our Chickens - Ellinor and Gracie.

I bought them for my husband's Easter pressent along with the little hen house I have posted. It is called an Eglu - lol

Awe, they are so cute! I would love to have a chicken! One time I went to a farm and they gave me an egg. Well, I guess my mom didn't want me to have a chicken, so she told me to "hatch it" in the refridgerator! (Mean trick to play on a 4 year old!!!) I was so upset when it didn't hatch! lol

That made me laugh Sammy. My sister and I rec'd two little yellow chicks for an Easter gift when we were young. Mary and Elizabeth turned into Murry and Big Red the day we woke up to crowing at 5am. Our first two "hens" ended up being Leg Horn roosters.
