my mares due date is today.

Oh very cool, so much farther along than us!! I am hoping its today for you.. I think we have a bit before she is ready.. Even though I would like her to go now, I think she isnt quite there. But who knows!

Ok will one of your mares just let it go! I am getting excited to see the baby pics! I hope you both have healthy foals, and mommas have easy deliveries! Cathy

we might have a baby. at feed time her milk was murkey... just flipped the tv on and she has been rolling around. went to check on her and her vulva is huge, way gaped and ABSOLUTELY no muscle in her tail head. her whole rear has dropped off even more. shes also warmer than normal but not QUITE sweating yet. hopefully we will have a baby TONIGHT! shes pretty sad looking right now.

the suspense is killing me to! i have NOTHING to update besides im exhausted. She did the whole getting up getting down, rolling, restlessness... her vulva was.... huge, puffy, long, when she winked it was red red inside there. her milk was STICKY at feeding time, and then at 10:00 she stood there, and stood there some more.

wow yes it sounds like she is really close! Although those tricky devils seem to keep alluding us in the foal part of all this.. lol they do the labor dance over and over, and then.... hmmm NOTHING!! Good luck hun, keep me updated ok?
