measurements

How would i measure my paso to see if she will fit pony tack. Like for a halter---from where to where would i measure? and the same thing for bridles and polo's and boots and such. thanks in advance.

for a halter, i dont think theres any real way to measure her face to see what type of halter will fit, i think its mainly trial and error hehe. as soon as you find out what type of halter she fits, the bridle will be the same (ex. pony bridle). polo's...dont they all come in one size? and for boots, again im thinking trial and error...all depends on your horse!

please dont quote me on this, im sort of guessing :P

You have a paso? The paso's I know usually fit Colt halters (one size smaller than Horse halters), but not pony halters unless your paso is a weanling or yearling.

Arab halters also do pretty good on pasos from my observation too.

As for the rest. the string measurement for the bit will tell you the size. "Pony" isn't the answer, however the actual SIZE will tell you the size you need. Since there are various sizes in bits in either "category".

Measure the cannon bone for boot size. Both up and down, and circumference.

My paso is 5 y/o and her filly is wearing a yearling halter but she is a paso appy cross so she is a bit diffrent. how do you do the string measurement?
