I have to admit I know nothing about OCD, but I truly believe in JB's post. It won't hurt anything to wait until you know without a doubt!! It would be a shame to geld him without knowing for 100% that he has it. I feel that you have a lot invested in him to get him gelded now, I would definitely wait.

*giggle* LOL!! 41 is no excuse anymore, not when I'm 42

Of course, when I read this post the first time, I read "I turned 41 and have NO money left..." and went "wth does turning 41 have to do with money??" then decided I probably didn't want to know

And BBJ, I will be crossing my fingers for you and Mars as well. There is no doubt in my mind that you will do what is right and best for both of you!

Mars is on Born To Win and he gets beet pulp. He's been on this since Spring.

When I first got him at 1 1/2 months his mom was on Ultium and beet pulp and he got to it every time...

Then when he was weaned around 6 months he was put on Strategy. That was from October to April/Mayish...

He has also taken several spills in the paddock when it gets slick. And it's ALWAYS his right hind.
