Marestare -- This Mare Ok?

She's worrying me a bit...haven't seen her get up....

The baby is nursing standing, while the mare is down, something wrong?

Or just exhaustion...

The baby is laying down now...but mom still hasn't moved

I just saw the mare jump.. baby was in the way so she couldn't get up, and didn't make a big deal. Is this a newborn? I'm willing to say the mare is just darn tired!

And just as I post, the mare stands.

This mare foaled I think it was yesterday or the day before. Before she foaled she would lie there just like that for AGES. I am thinking this is just her. But I suppose worth keeping an eye on.
