Well you know they could wait like a month or so before shipping the foal Oh and back when I adopted my boy I remember that the shipping fee to your area was only like $75 - $100! But again it all depends on the number of horses on the load going to your area (the more horses the cheaper the fee's).

Hmm.. Someone can truly rescue a foal from an auction for under $100.00 these days.. While I understand these agencies need to make money, I don't quite understand why these foals will be heading to a feedlot? Or the mares for that matter... **off to read the website** I guess these chunky monkeys are selling because of their colour, half draft breeding.. If I remember correctly there is a farm out of Manitoba that intentionally breeds these larger draft crosses with colour to sell as rescue/sport horse projects... Adopting/Selling yearlings for over $1000.00 |
