Mare ultrasound pics..

Thought Id share my two mares US pics.. "cause yea I'm excited..lol past what day can the foals be sexed? I can't remember what the vet said.

Hopes last cover was on April 4th

Bett's last cover was April 9th so looks like I will be having two pretty close together..

I remember when My mare had her ultrasoud and I got to see my baby for the first time, then we found another one and my mouth went dry. Thank goodness she absorbed one on her own.

Yes, I was praying that we wouldn't see twins.. thank God!

You totally just jinxed yourself! Now one will go 2 weeks early and the other will carry 1 yr+...hehe...that's how it works for me at least.

now i feel ripped off lol,
teach me to listen to anyone other than the vet
then again, they might not do it in QLD...

Who told you you couldn't ultrasound a mare? thats weird, how else would one check for twins? it is a rectal procedure, they stick a camera up/in there.. only takes about 3 minutes..

Yea I know I totaly just jinxed myself didn't I.. I am hoping I don't lose a month of sleep, altho, I do have a baby of my own so I'm used to NO sleep..lol
