| Senior Member+ | Mare Approvals - Update and Question Well I have emailed the American Hanoverian registry, the American Trakehner Assorciation, the Oldenburg association, the AWS and the AWR. So far I have gotten two replies. The AHS (hanoverian) said that no she can not be inspected if she is not registered with the JC. So check that one off the list. The AWR replied saying that they do not recognize the PHR so I will have to register her with them and then have her inspected. So thats good news.. I will be able to register her foals with them if the sires approved. The rest of them have not replied yet so I will be keeping everyone updated. In the meantime I am checking out all the different locations of upcoming inspections. What should I get her used to and ready to do as far as the inspections for AWR? Anyone have any experience with them? I believe you have to do a performace test but they do not have any info on what you do in the performance test. Any info would be great. Wish me luck with the other registries lol |

| Senior Member+ | The AWR's page isn't very informative about their approval process. Unfortunately I think you'll have to get all the information regarding their inspections from them via email or phone I would also email the NAWPN and the SWANA-- both were *extremely* nice and helpful. The NAWPN (North American version of KWPN, which is Dutch WB) does not inspect TB mares, but will register foals out of them who can be presented at 3 years of age. I just don't know if they'll accept PHR papers rather than JC. SWANA will inspect TB mares if you want to get her in a higher studbook, otherwise the foal can be registered without mare or foal inspection as long as the stud is fully licensed. Again, don't know if they accept PHR papers. Also, try the RPSI. They seem to be a bit more lenient than the AHHA, etc and were wonderful to deal with as well http://swanaoffice.org/ http://www.nawpn.org/ http://rhpsi.com/
