Mare aborted. :(

In her last weeks of her term Daisy aborted.. Her foal looked just like her with a huge white star on her forehead. The baby was passed with the entire sack, and i think they said the afterbirth had a hole in it. They called the vets and they said something about the baby bleeding out.. there wont be a re-breeding, and there wont be any samples sent off to diagnose the cause.. its a sad day at the farm.
After they took the baby away Daisy was so sad, she spent so much time trying to get her foal to wake up and come out of the sack... then she tried to take Teddy's foal but Teddy wouldnt have any part of it..
So so sad. High the arabian geld came over and gave her a 'hug' and groomed her for a while.. She stood over where she foaled sniffing and trying to figure out where her baby went...
i am going to cry...
Rest in peace little angel..

That's so sad... I'm truly sorry, and hope Daisy recovers quickly. Give her a big hug from me, and save one for you, too. You're both in my prayers!
